I'm just starting out in music production, is this program right for me?

Although Collective has a ton of advanced tutorials and workshops, we have foundational courses that cover everything you need to know about production, that will clue you into becoming more skilled with time. This will not only provide the right foundation for you to build on but give you the support and accountability you need to thrive.

Do I need expensive gear and equipment to be a Collective member?

As long as you have the drive to produce music, and the desire to make it happen, this platform will teach you everything needed to make great music, with or without expensive gear or equipment. With what you'll learn, you'll be able to produce professional music, even without a huge budget.

Is there only one specific Software or DAW that is used?

No. Although the majority of the lessons are taught using Ableton Live, you do not need the same DAW to gain the vast amount of wisdom poured out by Grammy winning music producer ill Factor, and the other Mentors. You can use any software for making music and recording you desire, and there have been hundreds of students who have used Logic Pro, Fl Studio, Pro Tools, Reaper, and many more and still benefit from the course material greatly
